HOME AUTOMATION v01 USING ESP8266 (NODEMCU)

Using nodemcu board being remotely controlled by any smartphone / computer. As technology is advancing so houses are also getting smarter. Modern houses are gradually shifting from conventional switches to centralised control system, involving remote controlled switches. For HOME AUTOMATION v02 USING ESP8266 Click here



In this project, we will be using the NodeMCU Wi-Fi Development board to make a small home automation that has Wi-Fi featured in it. The system operates on a local web server or Client mode. With this project, we can control at most four AC appliances which suit best for your small IoT projects.

Parts Required

  1. NodeMCU v1.0 / ESP8266
  2. 4ch Relay Board
  3. DS3231 with EEprom

Clock Based relay timer on/off control;

multicast DNS (connect without IP Address using name http://ediys.local);

  1. set clock manually
  2. sync with NTP / system time
